Refresh, Review and Update – Richard Ringrose
In an October 2022 webinar, Richard gave an excellent presentation on the identification and use of Market phases. Several Canberra members now use these simple to implement identification criteria to guide their trading. In September, 2024, Richard gave an equally highly regarded presentation on the ‘5% Canary in the Stock Index coal mine’. This has also been adopted by some ATAA members on an ongoing basis.
In this presentation, Richard will:
- Review how each of these strategies has performed since 2022
- Show how other charts and indicators have performed since their last presentation
- Update the property/assets market cycle
- Articulate the use Akhil Patel’s book ‘The Secret Wealth Advantage’ to suggest some actions for the current stage of this cycle
NB. Attendance at Richard’s previous presentations are not necessary prerequisites as brief reviews will be included.
Biography – Richard Ringrose
Richard has been an active member of ATAA for 20 years and trades Options alongside his longer-term portfolio.
Following an introduction to Options through a broker presentation two decades ago, Richard joined the ATAA to enhance his trading with position sizing and risk management to survive longer term in the markets.
This led to some bigger picture research and some interesting research into technical analysis charts and market behaviour. Richard’s presentations are always entertaining and insightful and generate some useful ideas for trading.
Guests of members and potential members are welcome to join us on a complimentary basis.
