6.30pm – 7.30pm: Presentation - AI for Traders: The New Rules of Engagement – Mike Smith
The last 12 months have rewritten what's possible. Prompt engineering has matured, the tools have exploded in potential, and traders who adapt are getting smarter and quicker without working harder. This isn't hype — it's a working method, and we'll show you exactly what it looks like in practice.
Three outcomes worth your time and demonstrated LIVE on session:
- Strategy development on demand — create, evaluate, and build and refine new strategies and personal accountability checklists in minutes, not days.
- Analytics without limits — market analysis, performance evaluation, edge discovery, post-trade review… the opportunities here are genuinely endless once you know how to “suck the marrow” out of what IS now possible to do and follow through on with AI.
- “Cowork” as your back office — Like having a true trading assistant -- automated research, news synthesis, and data pipelines running overnight, ready for you to act on when you start your trading day or week
Time to think of AI as not just a tool but more as a role on your team — the analyst, the researcher, the coder you didn't know you could afford. We'll touch on the coding side, but that's a story for another day.
